Every single step of the LuxuRigen™ Method is exclusive and guaranteed, performed by regenerating professionals and by verified and specific tools for fine jewelry.
Now, with a bit of experience, we know that you are thinking about the signs of wear that a used jewel can show. That’s why we decided to show you step by step the whole procedure that allows us to distinguish ourselves from a common second-hand jewelery store.

All the secrets of regeneration with the LuxuRigen Method™

In line with the choice of maximum transparency that we address in working with ReLusso, here is the description of all the individual steps that a used jewel follows to become a regenerated ReLusso jewel:

Phase 1: First Sterilization:

The jewel, previously selected on the basis of the most current market tastes, is placed in a container with a solution composed of water and sanitizing liquid, which is brought to the boil and then left in place for a specific time.

In this way, coarser impurities are softened and removed. If necessary, the jewel is brushed using goldsmith machinery such as the jet steamer, which allows you to reach the most hidden points.

Phase 2: Ultrasonic cleaning

The jewel is placed in an ultrasound washing machine (in the photo), in a specific detergent liquid for jewels, at 60-70°C. The ultrasonic cleaner removes the last impurities and returns a piece of jewelery even cleaner than when it was originally sold.

Phase 3: Checking the goldsmith

In this phase, our in-house goldsmith provides expert and very accurate control of each part of the jewel.

He makes sure that all the stones are firmly set and that all impurities have been removed. If necessary, it carries out small repairs of any damaged parts of the jewel (dents, broken or missing sections…).

Phase 4: Refinement

We are in the final stages, here we are dealing with the actual refurbishment of the jewel.

By the hand of our goldsmith, any scratches or opacity on the jewel disappear, through the phases of polishing (specific for yellow gold) or rhodium plating (specific for white gold). Now the jewel is back practically new!

Phase 5: Second sterilization

We have reached the last stage of the process: The final sterilization!
The jewel is placed in a specific UV lamp for 30 minutes.
Now it is a jewel like new and perfectly sanitized.

The jewel that comes out of these steps is officially a regenerated jewel, ready to become a ReLusso Jewel.
